Do I print out the Waiver and bring it the day of our ride?

Yes. Whoever books the ride is in charge of printing this out and having it ready the day of your ride. Anyone without waivers signed by all riders will NOT be able to ride the day of their tour. No exceptions, so please make sure your have this printed out and ready to hand to the driver.  

Do I have to book in advance?

Yes. Advance purchase is required! Tours can be booked online or by calling our office @ 734.436.1224.

Do I have to be 21 to ride?

Guests under 21 are welcome on day rides, but rides that begin at 8pm or later are for participants aged 21 and over only, unless accompanied by an adult.

How does it work with drinks?

The city of East Lansing does not allow us to drink alcohol while riding the bike. Every bar we stop at during our bar crawl tour will offer specials (May very on game days) on drinks with the wristbands provided at the beginning of the tour.

Can I bring alcoholic drinks and pour it into cups?

No. Non-alcoholic drinks and food may be brought on the bike for the tour. We will provide bottles of water on the bike during the tour.

 If I bring glass can I store it on the bike but not drink out of it?

YOU MAY NOT HAVE GLASS ON THE BIKE.

I lost my confirmation email. Where do I check in?

341 Evergreen Ave. EL 48823. There will be a stand for check-ins. It is advised to show up and check in 20 minutes prior to the tour.

How far is "The Bike" from downtown East Lansing?

We are in downtown East Lansing on Evergreen Ave. Approximately a 4-iron shot from all the drinking holes!

Where does the tour end?

The Spartan Tour: We will start and end at 341 Evergreen Ave, East Lansing, 48823

Please plan ahead for proper transportation.

Do you have parking available?

There is plenty of parking at the parking lots, city meters, and lots in downtown EL. 

What does the tour entail?

2 hour bar crawl that makes up to 2-4 stops to take full advantage of exclusive discounted deals with our partners.(May very on game days)

We have very limited parking available so each time we stop, your driver will give you a variety of options of the closest bars and every special at those bars. You can choose to go into any bar in the vicinity. We do not specifically visit every partner bar due to time restrictions; however, we will have a choice of what partner bars to visit during the tour.(May very on game days)

You are not required to go into the bars. You are more than welcome to hang out on the bike, pedal around more, take pictures and play games!

What’s included?

  • An Experienced Guide
  • Wristband for each rider to receive exclusive drink and food specials.(May very on game days)
  • Cooler stocked with ice and bottled waters. Any food or non-alcoholic drinks can be stored in the cooler.
  • Music: there will be an "Aux" cord for the passengers to play music. If the cord is not used, the driver will have a fun party playlist for the tour

 Do I pay in full up front?

Full payment is required when you book your tour in order to reserve all seats.

When should I arrive?

20-30 minutes prior to tour start time to fill out your waivers and receive your wrist band.

Can I stand up while riding?

No. Everyone must remain seated while the bike is moving.

What is the cancellation policy?

Tours cannot be refunded or rescheduled once you book since your space is being guaranteed.

What is the weather policy?

  • Tours will carry on in rain or shine.
  • You will be notified of cancellation due to weather – do not assume your tour is cancelled unless we contact you. We are required by regulation to cancel with lightening or severe weather.
  • 40 degrees or below or 100 degrees or above you will be given the option to cancel with a full refund or reschedule.
  • You will not receive a refund if your group decides against riding in the rain.
  • Weather cancellations are not made until the start of the tour.

 Is it really pedal power?

Of course it is! It’s called Lansing's party bike for a reason! This baby is all pedal power.

How many people can ride?

10 is the minimum, no more than 15.

What if I don’t have 10 people in my group?

Sign up for a public tour.  A minimum of 10 people combined are required to run a tour. You will be contacted if your tour does not meet the minimum and you will receive a refund or a reschedule.

How does this thing fit 15 people?

There are 12 bike seats and the bench on back holds 3 people.

What if I can’t pedal?

No problem! There are 12 seats that have pedals. 3 riders do not pedal.

What if I have more than 15 people?

  • Rent multiple bikes – contact us directly for more information.
  • Multiple bike reservations are only available for private parties only.
  • We require full payment up front for multiple bike rentals.

 We just have a couple people over 15. Is there anyway we can just fit a couple more on?

No. We can only allow 15 passengers on the bike at one time due to insurance and city regulations.

 How long is it?

All tours are 2 hours long.

Is there music?

Absolutely! We have a stereo with an auxiliary cord. You are welcome to hook up your iPod or MP3 player or your driver will provide a great party playlist for you. All music must be socially appropriate.

Can I take pictures?

Of course you can. You are paying us right? Absolutely you can take pictures! We will have a camera that our guide will use and all pictures taken on our camera will be posted on our website, Instagram and Facebook page. Also, our guides are more than happy to take pictures with whatever devices you have & as many as you would like. We are at your service!

What should I wear?

Please dress appropriate for predicted weather conditions.

Tennis shoes, sandals, boots are fine. We do not suggest high heels.

Is it dangerous?

It is no more hazardous than riding a regular bicycle. However, as with everything, there is always risk involved so passengers ride at their own risk.

Can I ride if I’m pregnant?

This is up to your discretion and we suggest checking with your doctor first. If you choose to ride, we suggest sitting on the bench rather than a pedal seat to ensure your safety.

Can I decorate?

Absolutely! Decorations are welcome. All decorations must be socially appropriate. Please note we cannot cover our signs with decorations at any time.

Should I tip the guide?

  • Our drivers work on tips so it is always much appreciated! 20% is customary for private groups.
  • Automatic gratuity is added for corporate functions and multiple bike parties.
